Its been a long time

Whoa , Nov.22nd eh ? thats been a LONG time ... I blame World of Warcraft ... get addicted to that game and your life is over ... but anyway .. Im back ... and gonna do this shiznit.

So lets start out by posting what I watched tonight.

Full Metal Panic:Fumoffu

sure sure , goofy name aside I had a blast watching this.

Its the second season of a show about a girl and a guy ... typical stuff right ?

Well if I add that the girl is hot, bossy, and overly violent and the guy is a military nut tasked to protect her by any means necessary , does that add some appeal ?

Well during the first season ... not really ... Full Metal Panic was a slow moving tale about a girl (Chidori) a schoolgirl with mysterious powers , and a boy ( Sagara ) charged by the military to protect her. Riddled in between the high school hijinx was an intense story about Sagara and his rival from the past fighting it out in mechs. The one part comedy , two parts action didnt really do it for me. Sagara at best came off as a protective guardian and Chidori was often overshadowed by the constant fighting , or the relationship between Sagara and Tesstarosa , the female captain of a nuclear sub.

Now for Fumoffu vol 1

This version takes a complete 180 from the first and sends it to crazy town. First thing they changed , and probably the best ... take away 100% of the other military characters and story , besides Sagara ... no more subs ... no more robot battles ... nothing .. nada ... zip.... except for

SAGARA'S COMPLETE OBSESSION WITH OVERKILLING EVERYDAY SITUATIONS WITH MILITARY DOCTORINE

This guy is NUTS ... someone goes missing ? He thinks they stepped on a random land mine. Out of ammo at the arcade? Pull out your real gun and start firing. If there is a problem , he solves it with guns.

And for every time Sagara goes off the deep end , Chidori is there to slap him over the head with something. Not so much a sweet girl , simply reacting to war and violence around her, shes constantly around Sagara trying to keep him on a short leash ... cause if she doesnt ... something might get blown up, and usually does anyway

Pure hijinx the whole time , from start to finish ... definatly watch this one with friends!
Not a whole lot of fan service and such but thats just fine by me, hopefully vol 2 gives ten times the laughs.
